I have a solution to the partisan redistricting problems. The following amendment to the State Constitution would end the hypocritical, if not criminal, wrangling that goes on every ten years to draw impossibly shaped districts whose on purpose is to ensure that the party in power remains in power, regardless of the will of the people. The amendment reads:

 

Each district shall have boundaries consisting of not more and not less than four (4) straight lines joined by not more and not less than four (4) 90 degree angles. Shorelines and Stateline borders shall be considered straight lines and the angles of lines intersecting with Statelines and coastlines shall be considered right angles.
